ArchiTech Wireless Access Locks

The Alarm Lock Division of Napco Security Technologies, Inc. introduced a new, easily deployed, keyless school security measure for controlling access to classrooms, or any doors, in an emergency, with its ArchiTech Wireless Access Locks with remote key fob-activated lockdown, securing one lock or a global lock group, in seconds, at the first hint of trouble. Once lockdown is activated, a bright red strobe light is illuminated on the inner door to give occupants, i.e., sheltering in place, greater peace of mind that the door is securely locked down. Retrofit any standard door lock, with the ArchiTech cylindrical locks that provide keyless access for up to 5000 users, plus 500 auto lock/ unlock event schedule.

                Inovonics announces the release of its new EN1244 wireless smoke detector. The new smoke detector addresses a market need by meeting UL268 (Smoke Detectors for Fire Alarms) and California State Fire Marshall (CSFM) regulatory approvals. The EN1244 wireless smoke detector features an onboard sounder, an LED indicator, tamper and local test. It’s also monitored by the EchoStream® network, alerting the user when sensor maintenance is needed or the battery is low.

                  Honeywell Fire-Lite Smart Wireless Integrated Fire Technology (SWIFT) 2.0 has added a new wireless relay module to the SWIFT line of devices. This relay module includes additional features such as the ability to activate a remote power supply and NAC expander, conduct elevator recall or power shutdown, and trigger door holders. SWIFT is a Class A commercial fire system that is completely wireless, saving time and costs for dealers during installations.

                    Meet the new DUCTSD – a duct smoke detector that simplifies testing with a cover-integrated smoke test port. DUCTSD’s cover-integrated smoke test port enables contractors to test the detector’s operation using any approved aerosol test smoke without the need of special tools or attachments. The streamlined DUCTSD uses a plug-in photoelectric smoke sensor with operating conditions ranging from -4 to 158 degrees Fahrenheit, and air speeds from 100 to 4,000 feet per minute. On the inside of that cover is QR code that links directly to the installation manual on the System Sensor website.
