ASIS: A Daily Look Into The Show

The dust is just now starting to settle post ASIS 2007. Last week, security professionals from across the country and beyond migrated to the Las Vegas Convention Center in hopes of finding out what it was that made this ASIS show the biggest and best yet.

As always, Security Products was there, working as hard as ants to find the latest and greatest products, meet with professionals near and far, attend educational sessions and discuss the state of the industry with other media sources.

Like many of you out there, we too got home at odd hours of the night, and we too had flight issues, luggage issues, parking and traffic problems – all the wonderful complications many face with traveling nowadays. But finally, most of us are back at work, telling stories of the now-memories we have of ASIS 2007 Las Vegas.

I find myself retelling stories of the helicopter ride I took courtesy of HSM; the laughable amount of money I won on the penny slot machines; the “What’s New on the Show Floor” seminar by Roy Bordes; and the attraction that Vegas continues to have for both business and pleasure purposes alike.

Who knows if next year’s show will top the attraction and allure this show had. I guess we’ll all just have to wait another year and see.

We’ll see you next year!
