Tri-Ed Branches Hosting Event To Support Pitch In For Baseball Charity
Tri-Ed, with the support of its vendor partners, is going to bat for underprivileged kids. And now dealers and integrators can too. On Thursday, October 2 from 5-7:30 p.m., every Tri-Ed branch in the eastern United States will host a charity event in support of the Pitch in for Baseball charity.
The organization collects and delivers new and gently-used youth baseball and softball equipment to underserved communities around the globe. America’s favorite pastime teaches young people about sportsmanship and teamwork, and getting out on the baseball field is a great way for kids to stay active.
Customers can step up to the plate for this worthwhile cause and let their old baseball equipment go into extra innings for needy kids. Donations of new or used baseballs, bats, mitts, pads, masks, etc. will be gratefully accepted at every participating Tri-Ed branch during the October 2 Happy Hour & Vendor Trade Show. In addition to helping this important charity, customers can get psyched for the World Series and enjoy complimentary beer, wine, soda, peanuts, popcorn, Cracker Jacks, hot dogs and hamburgers.
Tri-Ed branches hosting the Pitch in for Baseball events are Boston, Buffalo, N.Y., Charlotte, N.C., Clearwater, Fla., Miami, Milford, Conn., Pennsauken, N.J., Virginia Beach, Va. and San Juan, Puerto Rico. For more information, visit www.tri-ed.com or www.pitchinforbaseball.org.
