¡Viva México!

Every tradeshow has its unique selling points; some call it the secret sauce. I call it wearing out a pair of shoes while working the floor.
Expo Seguridad is no different. It may not be a huge tradeshow floor, but there are plenty of interesting people to talk to. Nevermind the language barrier, selling security products seems to be the common denominator.
My first day in Mexico City has been both profitable and enjoyable. The staff supporting Expo Seguridad is second to none. As the finishing touches were being put on exhibit stands, even at the last minute, staff members were hustling to find me a table and chairs. Their efforts were magnificent.
Show organizers were hoping for at least 17,000 visitors. I was shocked by the slow attendance when the show started at 2 p.m., but by 5 p.m. the hall was at full capacity.
I hope you will enjoy the remainder of this e-newsletter and Web site coverage. I have interviewed a couple of industry insiders familiar with the Mexican and Latin American market. The interviews are in English and Spanish. There also are a couple of interesting stories attached to this e-news report of some Russian gentlemen who found the South American market fitting to their needs. Also, there is a case study in Spanish that I found very interesting.
Enjoy.
