RF Technologies Names New President

RF Technologies, a leading provider of radio frequency identification monitoring systems and healthcare security solutions, has announced the hiring of Mark Harwood as company president. Harwood is a former vice president of Baxter International Inc. and former president and CEO of Arjo Inc. He brings to his new position an outstanding record of success in the high-tech, healthcare and medical device industries.

"Mark is a high energy person with a broad background," said Glenn Jonas, CEO of RF Technologies. "He has exceptionally deep experience in the Senior Care market area running operations in Europe and the U.S. for Arjo. In addition, Baxter has provided him with significant experience overseeing technical and service areas. We are looking forward to his leadership and confident in the direction he will take the company."

Harwood's track record boasts dramatic increases in market share, revenue and profitability for leading organizations. As the VP of Baxter International, Harwood directed and developed the Global Technical Services business for the firm across North America, Latin America, Asia Pacific and Europe. He had full responsibility for P&L and organic growth, supply chain activity, new product development and global standards. Prior to that, as president of Arjo North America, Harwood drove multiple initiatives that resulted in a rapid doubling of sales over a period of three years.

Harwood earned a Bachelor of Science from the Oxford College of Technology and Engineering in Oxford, England. He is affiliated with the Institute of Engineering & Technology and the Institute of Directors, United Kingdom.
