Audrey Pierson Named DMP’s New Western U.S. Director of Sales

Digital Monitoring Products (DMP) announced that Audrey Pierson has been named the director of sales for the Western U.S. Pierson will work with the DMP dealer development managers in all of the western territories, supporting their efforts as they develop new sales and provide on-going service to DMP authorized dealers throughout the region.

"The dealer development managers in Audrey's region will benefit greatly from her experience," said Mark NeSmith, DMP’s vice president of sales. "Audrey was a successful systems dealer herself, so she has firsthand experience regarding what dealers want and need from their suppliers. Her security and sales knowledge, coupled with her experience as a sales coach, make Audrey the perfect person to support the DMP dealer development managers in the western region."

Pierson joined the organization in 2009 as the regional sales manager for Northern California, Northern Nevada, and Utah, building on her lifelong career in sales. Her first exposure to sales was working in her parents' department store beginning at age eight. With her husband Hugh, she founded Pierson Security Systems in 1990. As president, she led that company to a million dollar annual business before selling it in 2005. She later went on to found Secure Your Success Inc., a sales coaching and consulting firm, which she led as president.

Pierson was born in Philadelphia, PA, and currently lives in Carmel Valley, CA. She's been honored with awards for sales excellence, and holds leadership positions in a number of organizations, including serving as president of the Monterey County Rape Crisis Center and is past president of the Professional Women's Network of the Monterey Peninsula.

DMP is a privately held independent manufacturer of innovative intrusion, fire, access control, network and cellular communication products.
