TOA Electronics Inc. Expands its Team

TOA Electronics Inc., manufacturer of commercial audio and security products, has promoted Bob Tamburri to the position of marketing director, Josh Srago to senior consultant liaison and trainer, and Tim Lee to Product Support Supervisor.

Tamburri will be responsible overseeing product marketing, product management and marketing communications nationwide. He has more than 25 years of experience in the audio industry. He has been involved in product marketing and development for more than12 years, having served similar roles for other professional and consumer audio electronics manufacturers.

TOA’s president and CEO, Masahiko Takao, said, “TOA needs to strengthen and expand its product marketing activities in order to reach its goals. Mr. Tamburri has been serving well in his role as marketing and product manager and I believe that he can bring his experience and talent in that area to his new position. He will be working to develop exciting new products for the U.S. market, improve the visibility of TOA products and in communicating the “TOA Solution” advantage to the market.”

Srago will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with consultants and designers to help them learn about TOA products and specify TOA in major projects. He will also continue to produce product training tools and conduct training sessions with TOA dealers nationwide.

Srago is experienced in audio production, serving nearly 10 years in the industry, and is highly knowledgeable in TOA products through his previous position as TOA’s product support specialist and western region consultant liaison and trainer. Josh received his bachelor’s degree from San Francisco State University where he majored in broadcast electronic and communicative arts with a special emphasis in audio Production.

Tamburry said, “Josh continues to prove himself a valuable link between TOA and the consultant and dealer communities. He is helping to strengthen and shape our relationships with them to better serve their interests and further establish TOA as a true partner.”

Lee’s new role will be to oversee the technical services group, which includes product support & repair and to help streamline the processes which drive that group’s efforts.  Tamburri said, “Tim has been serving effectively in his role with the product support team and he has gained both customers’ and TEI’s trust.  He has now been given wider responsibility to improve both before and after sales service. TOA’s goal is to provide the best technical support in the industry. Tim’s responsibility is to maintain the highest level of quality for TOA service and make any necessary improvements to meet and exceed customers’ expectations.”
