SpringCM Names New Head of Government Solutions Division

SpringCM, provider of the cloud enterprise content management platform, announced that Joe Marino has been named vice president and general manager of the company’s Government Solutions Division, reporting to CEO Christopher Junker. Marino has more than 16 years of government industry experience, most recently having served as vice president for federal sales for Dataguise Inc., a data privacy and security company.

"Mr. Marino brings an impressive set of capabilities and experience to SpringCM," said Christopher Junker, SpringCM CEO. "His knowledge of the federal market as well as the challenges that government contractors face will be invaluable to the continued growth of our Government Solutions Division."

Marino’s previous management positions include regional vice president of federal sales for Vignette, and federal group branch manager for Information Builders, where he successfully drove year-over-year revenue growth. Marino began his career at NCR where he held several leadership positions in both their commercial and public-sector divisions.

The new appointment follows a string of successes for SpringCM’s Government Solutions Division, which recently announced the increased capabilities of the latest version of its Privia product for bid, capture and proposal management for government contractors. The division had a record year in 2010 and experienced 40 percent revenue growth.

“SpringCM has a track record of success in the rapidly growing cloud market,” Marino said. “The Government Solutions Division is particularly well-positioned. Government contractors can address their biggest business challenges with Privia, as well as SpringCM’s solutions for past performance and sales contract management. SpringCM’s leading technology, impressive customer base and strategy for the federal cloud market have incredible potential for growth. I look forward to taking an active role in SpringCM’s continued success.”
