ComNet Expands into Latin America

ComNet, a manufacturer of fiber optic transmission and networking equipment, has named Ricardo Acle as the company’s director of Latin America sales.

The infrastructure within Latin American is expanding rapidly. The expansion fuels the demand for fiber optic and Ethernet transmission products. ComNet has decided to expand it their presence in the market and has appointed Acle to position the company and expand product sales.

“Latin America offers ComNet a great opportunity for expansion. The demand for fiber optic and Ethernet transmission equipment is strong and will continue to increase as the market evolves. Having the right person to lead the effort is a critical. We believe Ricardo is that person,” said Andrew Acquarulo Jr., ComNet president and chief operations officer. “Recently Rick has been focused on managing the ComNet western U.S. sales region. His experience and his ability to develop channel partners made him the ideal choice to lead this effort.”

“This role is a great new challenge for me. At the recent ISC Brazil tradeshow, the interest we encountered in the ComNet product line easily confirmed my decision,” Acle said. “To be given the opportunity to lead ComNet into an important new market with such great potential is a privilege. I look forward to leading ComNet to the same position of prominence we created here in the U.S. I will be announcing some very exciting plans in the very near future.”

Acle has many years of experience in providing optical fiber communication solutions and is well known among major users throughout the western United States. He attended Irvine Valley College and will be based out of the western regional ComNet office in Mission Viejo, Calif.
