AirWatch Surpasses 250 Employee Milestone

AirWatch, a provider of mobile security, mobile device management and mobile application management, reached mid-year having achieved record advances in the size and scope of its employee base and security technology offerings. In the first six months of 2011, the company grew its employee base by 40 percent and added more than 450 new customers.

AirWatch enables organizations to securely deploy, monitor and manage corporate and employee-liable devices and applications across a broad range of platforms. The solution integrates mobile devices to internal resources such as Exchange, VPN and Wi-Fi. The company’s app catalog allows enterprises to distribute and perform updates to applications across multiple types of smartphones. It also has an SDK library for building secure apps with single sign-on, certificate authentication, app passcodes and lock and wipe capabilities. AirWatch offers flexible deployment options with Software as a Service (SaaS), appliance or on-premise solutions.
