GTS Expands International Sales and Marketing Team
Global Technology Systems Inc. (GTS), a designer and manufacturer of battery packs, chargers and power management technology for portable devices, announced William (Bill) Bigelow was hired as vice president of European operations. In this new role, Bigelow will lead the sales and marketing activities in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA).
“Our experience shows that customers in this region are innovators and are on the leading edge of new power technology adoption,” said Lawrence A. Murray, chairman and CEO of GTS. “Bill has a deep understanding of the mobile device and two-way radio markets. He will help our team bring valuable mobile power solutions to existing and new EMEA customers.”
Prior to joining GTS, Bigelow was the regional service sales director for Motorola EMS (Enterprise Mobility Solutions), previously Symbol Technologies. He also was the general manager of AMEXTRA, Apple Computer IMC.

Bigelow holds a Bachelor of Science degree in physics, as well as a degree in electrical engineering, from Lakehead University, Canada. He has also completed the Six Sigma Black Belt training program.
