Security Products Celebrates Winners, IP Cameras at ASIS 2011

Security Products’ editorial staff has been hard at work preparing for the ASIS International show in Orlando.

In addition to filling our calendars with booth visits to view the latest and greatest security products and services, network with colleagues old and new and various educational seminars, we’ll also be handing out the New Product of the Year awards to all the winners, which is my favorite part of the show.

On Monday, we’ll visit each winning company’s booth individually to present the award, offer congratulations and take a picture, which we’ll post on our website.

The Security Products New Product of the Year Award, in its third successful year, honors the outstanding product development achievements of security equipment manufacturers whose products are considered particularly noteworthy in their ability to improve safety.

Congratulations to all the winners!

The second item Security Products will celebrate at ASIS is the 15th anniversary of IP cameras.

Next Wednesday, from 9-11 a.m., Security Products will host a roundtable discussion with prestigious industry leaders. Moderated by editor-in-chief Ralph Jensen, topics include IP cameras, deployment and overall installation, IP networks, and the capacity to use the bandwidth. This will be followed by a Q&A with panel members and questions from the audience.

The roundtable will be held at the Orange County Convention Center, Room W110B.

If you haven’t registered for this event yet, do it now and we’ll see you in Orlando for another great show!
