MOBOTIX Showcases IP Security Technologies
MOBOTIX highlighted the rich functionality of its megapixel, IP security technologies, including its new 6.2 megapixel surveillance camera, at ASIS.
“We are excited to provide the attendees of the ASIS seminar with the opportunity to see the newest additions to our product portfolio in person,” said Steve Gorski, general manager, Americas, MOBOTIX. “The D14 is our newest innovation and as our highest resolution camera, it provides users with the highly detailed image clarity necessary to support and solve investigations quickly.”
The MOBOTIX D14 DualDome camera combines the unique MOBOTIX decentralized approach to surveillance with 6.2-megapixel quality video to provide exceptional, high-resolution coverage of large areas. With two separately adjustable camera modules, each with 3.1 megapixels, the D14 offers a variety of ways to examine a scene because the two modules can be combined to create one image. Equipped with a 90° wide angle and tele lenses, the camera can monitor an entire scene and, at the same time, the tele lens can record portrait photos in front of a particular area, such as an entrance.
MOBOTIX also demonstrated the MOBOTIX IP Video Door Station. With 3.1 megapixels and internal memory, the hemispheric door camera records the entire entrance area, with no blind spots, from wall to wall and from floor to ceiling. The unit also features recording with sound, keyless entry and integrated message function.
