Adams Rite Debuts A100-3090H Keyless Entry Control and Wireless Hub System Package

At ASIS 2013, Adams Rite, an ASSA ABLOY Group company, will debut the Adams Rite A100-3090H keyless entry control system that pairs an Adams Rite locking device and ASSA ABLOY Aperio® wireless hub. This unique package is ideal for customers who want to add electronic access control to a narrow stile aluminum door without adding another credential or access control system.

Suitable for existing Adams Rite deadbolts, deadlatches and exit devices that are compatible with aluminum stile applications, the A100-3090H also works with SARGENT®, Yale® and Corbin Russwin® exit devices. The A100-3090H offers all the benefits of keyless security along with compatibility with ASSA ABLOY's Aperio technology, which enables a mechanical door to quickly be upgraded to an electrified access control door without the labor and expense of wiring the door, greatly improving the security level of the premises.

The Aperio hub is a local hub that connects to a facility's access control system. It is the interface between the A100 lock and the rest of the system.

The A100-3090H is available in a reader-only version. It can be installed for either left hand or right hand entry, and features a vandal-resistant lever with a break-away (resettable) clutch. Additional features include a mortise cylinder override and door position, REX and tamper alarm functions. The A100-3090H supports HID® 125kHz proximity or 13.56MHz iCLASS® contactless credentials and integrates readily with existing credential systems. It also has a key override that allows secure manual unlock capability. The A100-3090H is available in two decorative finishes: satin chrome and dark bronze.

The A100-3090H kit is also ideal for use with the Securitron DKC Digital Keypad Controller, which provides stand-alone control of up to two electrically locked doors. Typical applications for the DKC include employee, suite and side entrances and the front door entrances of small businesses.
