Northern Video Systems, ioimage Sign Distribution Agreement

ioimage, a producer of intelligent video appliances, recently announced it has signed a distribution agreement with Northern Video Systems, a  distributor of security, surveillance and IP video equipment, to distribute its products to security systems integrators and dealers throughout North America.

Through the agreement, Northern Video will offer off-the-shelf intelligent video solutions from ioimage. Northern Video serves systems integrators and dealers in North America and will distribute ioimage’s products through its headquarters in Rocklin, Calif., and distribution centers in Texas and New Jersey.

“We are excited to represent ioimage since its products offer off-the-shelf intelligent video solutions,” said Brian James, vice president of Northern Video.  “This kind of solution will appeal to small and mid-size security sites that have been slow to embrace video analytics because of the involved complexity and costs“.

“By joining forces with Northern Video, ioimage is able to bring its high-performing, yet easy-to-install intelligent video solutions to a larger group of system integrators and dealers,” said Garry Clark, president of ioimage Americas. “We’re providing unprecedented access to intelligent video products, enabling both high level security facilities such as power plants, airports and manufacturing facilities, as well as industrial and commercial facilities such as car dealerships and universities to deploy video analytics."
