The Security Standard Conference Announces Speaker Line-up

Bringing together the best new thinking and most qualified speakers on corporate security, technology, risk management, and law enforcement, the second annual The Security Standard conference will feature presentations from Microsoft and Cisco executives, as well as from Daniel J. Larkin, Unit Chief of the Cyber Initiative & Resource Fusion Unit, Cyber Division at the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Entitled "A Lengthening Shadow: The Growing Influence of Organized Crime on Cyber-Security,"
Larkin's keynote will highlight the landscape of organized computer crime and what executives need to do to protect their organizations. Larkin will also outline how to proactively advance the fight against an increasingly international and organized cyber crime threat.

In addition, two new executives join The Security Standard's speaker line-up: -- Dr. Michael Carmichael, CSO and VP from McAfee, will join the security experts on the "Security in the Age of the MySpace Employee" panel. -- Dr. Whitfield Diffie, CSO of Sun Microsystems, will speak on the topic of, "Securing Your Organization with Open Source."
