Security Operations Center To Debut At ISC East
The debut of the Security Operations Center will take place at ISC East and the Infosecurity NY tradeshow, and has been billed as a best of breed, multi-vendor example of convergence technology. It will highlight the security and business benefits of combining physical and information security.
More than 25 manufacturers will display their latest IP-based products at SOC, which will provide showgoers the opportunity to experience convergence at its best. Solutions will focus on four different market sectors, including government, education, retail and banking. The center will include a forum for the most relevant customer security concerns and technology standards proven to solve them.
There also will be an “Ask the Experts” panel discussion where security professionals can gain knowledge on bandwidth and network security. The sessions will take place several times a day during both days of the show. Educational guides and materials will be available.
Companies participating will include Assa Abloy, Axis Communications, Canon, DeWalt, Exacq Technologies, On-Net Surveillance Systems and Transition Networks, among others.
“The Security Operations Centers is the first of its kind,” said Dean Russo, group vice president of Reed Exhibitions. “We are excited to present this concept to both physical and IT security professionals through the collocation of these two events.”
SOC will feature IP surveillance video, networked access control, intrusion detection, wired and wireless network security products, enterprise class servers, software management platforms and robust storage networks.
