More Than $250,000 of Refurbished Sony Security Gear Available at Oct. 13 Online Auction

Tiger Group’s Gear Express Auction Marketplace selling more than 900 pieces of excess inventory; many boxed and under warranty

More than 900 Sony brand factory sealed and refurbished security cameras and mounting kits valued at more than $250,000 will be available when Tiger Capital Group’s GearXpres Auction Marketplace conducts an online-only sale of excess inventory – most with warranties.

Online bidding commenced October 6 at www.SoldTiger.com and will close in rapid succession, live auction style, on October 13, beginning at 10:30 a.m. (PT). Previews of the various assets being offered will be held October 12, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (PT), at 13545 Larwin Circle, Santa Fe Springs, Calif.

“Security system professionals, integrators, system designers, resellers, installers, and IT managers will be interested in this opportunity to acquire like-new equipment at competitive prices,” said Chris Thompson, Director of Business Development at Tiger’s Commercial & Industrial division. “This auction will also appeal to any companies that are currently using Sony security equipment.”

Key surveillance and security systems being offered include indoor and ruggedized motion sensing, infra-red outdoor bullet and fixed cameras and accessories. The offering also contains PTZ and IP hybrid cameras, including Sony C, E, V and X series. SNTEP stand-alone encoders will also be available.
