RapidFire Safety and Security Acquires ACT Low Voltage

The acquisition expands the company’s service footprint and fire protection capabilities within the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area.

RapidFire Safety & Security has acquired ACT Low Voltage, a fire systems provider based in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, the company announced. The move is intended to increase RapidFire’s presence in the Texas market.

Founded in 2010, ACT Low Voltage specializes in the installation and maintenance of commercial fire alarm systems. The company maintains NICET certification and NFPA compliance.

The acquisition adds to RapidFire’s existing suite of services, which includes access control, video surveillance and integrated life safety systems. According to company leadership, the ACT team will remain in place to maintain service continuity for existing local customers.

"ACT adds strong local relationships and expertise that accelerates our growth in DFW and helps us deliver a broader set of fire and security solutions," said Bob Ricucci, chief revenue officer of RapidFire Safety & Security.

Bryan Bingham, owner of ACT Low Voltage, said the decision to join RapidFire was made to support future growth while preserving the service standards the company’s client base expects.

RapidFire, which is backed by Concentric Equity Partners, operates fire protection and electronic security services across the Midwest, Southwest and Western United States.

Legal counsel for the transaction was provided by Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney PC.
