Norwegian Shoplifter Slips Past Security with 42-inch TV Under Her Skirt

In a daring criminal move and an impressive feat of strength, a woman in Oslo recently walked out of a store empty handed, but with a 42-inch television clasped between her thighs.

Alas, the woman did not make it far, only to a nearby bus stop, as a suspicious store employee had already called the police. Accompanied by her boyfriend, the 31-year-old Romanian woman was apprehended on the bus, telling the police she had “very strong thigh muscles.”

At Oslo police headquarters, Tor Grøttom told The Daily Mail, “We wondered at first if this was impossible but then we tried it at the station with female officers. It is hard - but not impossible.”

While we certainly don’t encourage others to try this stunt out, we have to wonder: what are your thoughts on this bizarre story? Do you think this reflects poorly on shopping center security? Or are some thieves just too good to guard against?
