ASIS 2017 is upon us! Dallas, Texas will be inundated with hundreds of security companies ready to announce, showcase and demo their most innovative products for attendees so it is sometimes a little hard to figure out which booths you should stop at.

Security Today has put together a list of the top 10 booths we deem are “must see” at ASIS this year! If you do stop by these booths, snap a photo or selfie and tweet it to @SecurToday mentioning the top 10 booths article. We love to see attendees taking our advice!

Salient, provider of enterprise level video management systems, is showing a sneak-peek of their highly anticipated next generation VMS platform at ASIS. Salient will also showcase CompleteView VMS and Syndex Pro based on BriefCam’s Video Synopsis. Customers will be able to see a reduction in the amount of time and resources required to view video and accelerate post-incident investigation.

CoStar Video

Costar Video Systems, a provider of electronic security solutions, will have a lot to see at the show this year. You’ll get a chance to see a demo of their new (and free) Video Management Software, StarNET. This demo will feature their new video analytics, visual reference mapping, system health checking and more. You also won’t want to miss out on a chance to meet Richard Rawlings from the Discovery Channel’s Fast N’ Loud reality TV show. He will be in the Costar Video Systems booth signing autographs and taking selfies with one of his signature cars on Wednesday, September 27th from 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM and 3:30 PM – 4:30 PM.

Arecont Vision

Arecont Vision, a camera manufacturer, will be showcasing several new products at ASIS this year including the SurroundVideo Omni G3, SurroundVideo G5 Mini,  MegaDome 4K and the MicroBullet which are all winners in Security Today’s New Product of the Year contest. Each product has Arecont Vision’s Cybersecurity Protection included, which means these megapixel cameras cannot be maliciously repurposed for use in cyberattacks, something that has become increasingly more important as cyber criminals become more sophisticated. 

Arecont Vision will be showcasing and demoing these new products and more at booth 3221.

DSX Access Systems

DSX Access Systems, an access control company, manufactures access control software and hardware solutions for single doors or enterprise wide systems. New at DSX is the new version of their Mobile Command Application for use with Apple and Android. The new version of the app has a new enhanced user interface and contains all of the sold-separate features from before.

DSX has many great products to stop and see, make sure you don’t miss them at booth 3715.

HID Global

HID Global, a manufacturer of secure identity solutions, is cooking up some sweet product releases for ASIS this year. Teased on their social media accounts is a new product suspected to be “the next big thing in ID issuance.” The product is expected to be unveiled at the show, making this booth a must-see.

In addition to the new product, HID Global is showcasing their HID PIV multi-factor authentication solution that covers the complete lifecycle of the identity.

ASSA ABLOY, supplier of total door opening solutions, will be showcasing its group’s most innovative products in high performance door security at ASIS in Dallas this year. For example, HES ASSA ABLOY will be giving demos for their 1500/1600 electric strikes and their K20 and KP20 cabinet locks with affordable keypad control or card reader technology.

Altronix, provider of power and transmission solutions for the security industry, is showcasing some new additions, versions and upgrades of the products you already know and love. At ASIS they will be showcasing the latest additions to the company’s Fiber Solutions as well as its expanded offering of their Trove Access and Power Integration Solutions. Altronix will also be announcing its VR6 Voltage Regulator and PSD8 Dual Input Power Distribution Modules are now UL listed at the show.

Speco Technologies

Speco Technologies, provider of innovations in video surveillance and electronic accessories, will be giving demos on several new products at ASIS this year, notably their newest VX Wall Mount Series that are now available. Speco Technologies has also announced its new multi-format HD Analog Bullet Camera with junction box – the VLB1A.
