In light of the recent hacks on Target, Neiman Marcus and Michael's Crafts, retailers are realizing that the sophistication of intrusion technologies and industrial espionage targeting their networks has risen to another level. This session will address some of the changes currently underway in the retail sphere as security technicians and network analysts attempt to harden their network infrastructure against attack. This talk will cover PCI compliance, mobile device management, security analytics, malware remediation and APT (Advanced Persistent Threat), the Implications of high-profile hacks for business intelligence, POS technology, encrypted transactions and security infrastructure, and how retailers are dealing with these.
