Kai Axford (MBA, CPP, CISM, CISSP, ACE, CHFI), is a Director of Strategic Services for FishNet Security and is board certified in security management. In his current role he serves as a trusted security advisor to Fortune 1000 customers and assists them in effectively mitgating risk in their corporate environments. Prior to his role Kai led a team of penetration testers that conducted exploitation testing, facility breach exercises, vulnerability assessments, and other security exercises. Kai has delivered over 300 security presentations on a variety of topics, including computer espionage, digital forensics, and security management, around the world.

During his eleven years at the Microsoft Corporation, he was a Sr. Security Strategist responsible for discussing and recommending security solutions to both private and public sector organization and engaged Chief Security Officers worldwide. Kai holds an MBA in Information Assurance. He is a member of ISSA, ISACA, Infragard, and the North Texas Electronic Crimes Task Force. He currently serves on the academic advisory board for the University of Dallas' Masters degree program for Cybersecurity. Prior to joining the world of information security, he served as a leader with the U.S. Army's elite 75th Ranger Regiment and participated in several real-world security operations.
