How Do We Communicate in a Crisis?
Every day in every school in our country, events happen on campuses. Some of these events are critical and others are less important, but all remain a part of the department’s duties. What is important? Your schools must have a plan in place before a crisis so that, when it happens, everyone will already know and understand their roles. When the “Bell Rings,” first responders will arrive, and it is important for school administrators to know what to do in these situations. In this presentation, Chief Miller will talk about what everyone’s role is in a crisis and the steps that should be taken well before the event.
