Proximex Technology Protecting Los Angeles Temple

Proximex, developer of solutions for the physical security information management (PSIM) market, announced recently that Proximex Surveillint was chosen by Stephen S. Wise Temple to help protect its campuses, students, faculty and congregants.

The project includes integrating nearly 100 cameras located throughout four schools on three campuses and using Proximex Surveillint to centrally manage multiple video, access control, video analytics and intrusion detection systems.

Stephen S. Wise Temple supports more than 1,700 nursery school through 12th grade students and 650 faculty and administrative staff. The temple has always taken security seriously and increased its security policies and procedures after 9/11.

"The safety of our children is always a top priority and we needed the strongest solution we could find to help us protect them," said David Lam, chief information officer and chief information security officer for Stephen S. Wise Temple. "Proximex Surveillint is exactly the type of solution we need. It allows us to incorporate our multiple video systems and security systems into one easy-to-use security platform so we can centrally view and quickly respond to incidents based on our security policies. In addition, as we expand with more security technologies, Surveillint lets us choose the best systems available to meet the needs of our environment without worrying about interoperability."
