ScreenCheck International, B.V. Purchases Polaroid Commercial ID Division

The management team of Polaroid's Commercial ID Division and ScreenCheck International, B.V. purchased the Commercial ID Division from Polaroid Corporation. The new company will operate under the name ScreenCheck North America, LLC and its home office is located in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The company will provide quality photo identification products, web applications, and card printing solutions worldwide.

ScreenCheck North America's Chief Executive Officer, Michael Fox, who has run the division for several years commented, “The quality Polaroid products and the existing strong U.S. distribution channel combined with ScreenCheck International's global distribution network is a formidable force in the identification and card printing industry”. As part of the agreement, ScreenCheck North America will retain certain license rights to use the Polaroid brand on its products worldwide.
