Honeywell Welcomes One of New Jersey’s Largest Alarm Companies as First Alert Dealer

Honeywell announced that Garden State Fire and Security Alarm Co., Inc. has joined the Honeywell First Alert Professional Dealer Program, the country’s largest independent security dealer network. Garden State is based in Aberdeen, N.J., and is considered one of the state’s largest independent alarm companies.

Garden State has been in business for more than 40 years. The fire and security company provides residential, small business and commercial customers with burglar and fire alarms, access control, central station monitoring and video surveillance systems. Garden State offers 24-hour emergency services and utilizes Global System for Mobile Communications technology to provide dual-path, reliable communication for all customers on every installation.

“We pride ourselves on being ahead of the game in technology, and this new relationship with Honeywell will help us to be at the forefront,” said Mike Ash, president of Garden State. “As we see the demise of POTS lines in customers’ homes and businesses, enhanced home and business communication technology is now more important than ever.”

With more than 500 dealers nationwide, the First Alert Professional Dealer Program provides customized support in sales techniques and marketing strategies for intrusion, fire, CCTV and access control systems in commercial and residential facilities. The program is designed for dealers with expertise in intrusion and fire, video surveillance and access control.

“Garden State is a strong addition as an authorized dealer because of the expert, leading technology services it provides to customers,” said Joe Sausa, First Alert Professional president.
