Georgia Tech and Mobile Active Defense Announce Innovation Alliance for Mobile Security

Mobile Application Development Partners and Georgia Tech Information Security Center have just completed their industry alliance partnership on mobile security research and the company will serve on the GTISC Industry Advisory Board.

"We certainly are in strong agreement when it comes to mobile device security and find many common interests and synergies between M.A.D. Partners and GTISC," said Mustaque Ahamad, director of GTISC. "We look forward to working with M.A.D. in this important space and welcome them as a GTISC industry partner."

Georgia Tech is an international leader in education and research, with GTISC taking a recognized lead in information security. The center's faculties are world leaders in areas that range from network security and botnet detection to security of emerging technologies such as VoIP and mobile devices.

M.A.D. Partners is the only company that has developed and deployed a Mobile Enterprise Compliance and Security server that locks down iPhones, iPads as well as smartphone and tablet devices, giving the enterprise complete control, management and administration over their entire mobile population.

"I am personally delighted that we have been selected as an innovation partner with GTISC," said Rob Smith, CTO of M.A.D. Partners. "As a thought leader in the mobile security space, it's an honor and pleasure for us to be working closely with GTISC. Our partnership helps align and implement our organizations' shared vision of a safe and secure mobile computing experience for everyone."
