Dan Kilgore Takes New Post at Ingersoll Rand Security Technologies

Ingersoll Rand Security Technologies has made Dan Kilgore responsible for leading the company’s government (federal, military, aviation, state and local) vertical market development activities and developing market growth strategies and driving execution of these strategies in the government space.

Kilgore will be the principal point of contact internally and externally for the government vertical, working closely with the government and field sales teams.

“The government market has a great demand for the products and services that Ingersoll Rand Security Technologies provides,” said Ingersoll Rand Security Technologies Vice President for Marketing Rajesh Venkat. “However, it has many idiosyncrasies, ranging from pricing to standards to procedures, which are very different from the private sector. We’re looking forward to having Dan help our government customers and their integrators smooth out the sales cycle for obtaining the solutions government agencies need to keep them and the public safe and secure.”

Kilgore has spent 25 years in government market business development, sales and marketing, promoting security systems services and building controls. In his previous job at Johnson Controls, he was responsible for driving share growth across multiple segments of the market. He led sales and marketing efforts to identify, secure, and retain customers by actively networking with businesses, governmental and professional leadership.

Ingersoll Rand’s Security Technologies' products include electronic and biometric access control systems; time-and-attendance and personnel scheduling systems; mechanical locks; portable security; door closers, exit devices, architectural hardware, and steel doors and frames; and other technologies and services for global security markets.
