CSIdentity's Morrow Steps Aside to Make Way for New CEO

William Morrow, CEO of Austin-based CSIdentity Corporation, announced that he is stepping aside to become chairman. He will be succeeded by Joe C. Ross, the company’s current president, who will serve as interim CEO while an executive search firm helps identify a permanent replacement.

Morrow announced his decision at an internal meeting, in which he told CSIdentity’s employees about his recent bout with cancer and his changing focus.

“The good news is, I won,” Morrow said. “I am cancer-free and have been since December 2009. Over the past months, I have spent a lot of time considering what I want to do with rest of my life. I plan to take the summer off to immerse myself in my family and begin thinking about my next professional passion.”

Morrow assured employees that he will remain active as CSIdentity’s chairman, working with the board to grow the company and support its efforts.

Snap One has announced its popular Luma x20 family of surveillance products now offers even greater security and privacy for home and business owners across the globe by giving them full control over integrators’ system access to view live and recorded video. According to Snap One Product Manager Derek Webb, the new “customer handoff” feature provides enhanced user control after initial installation, allowing the owners to have total privacy while also making it easy to reinstate integrator access when maintenance or assistance is required. This new feature is now available to all Luma x20 users globally. “The Luma x20 family of surveillance solutions provides excellent image and audio capture, and with the new customer handoff feature, it now offers absolute privacy for camera feeds and recordings,” Webb said. “With notifications and integrator access controlled through the powerful OvrC remote system management platform, it’s easy for integrators to give their clients full control of their footage and then to get temporary access from the client for any troubleshooting needs.”
