Level II IP Trainings at Tri-Ed / Northern Video Earn Accolades from Dealers, Integrators

Dealers and integrators are coming out in force to reap the benefits of the IP trainings being offered at Tri-Ed / Northern Video Distribution. This year’s Level II IP training seminar series kicked off in January and includes education on important IP topics such as network design best practices, IP naming structure, the OSI model and switch basics. The class is being offered at every Tri-Ed / Northern Video branch location throughout 2011.

During a recent training at Tri-Ed / Northern Video’s Riverside, Calif., branch, several attendees voiced how the classes are helping them master all things IP. Ray Clouter of Southwest Alarm said that he wanted – and needed – to learn more about IP and that the class gave him an understanding of IP terminology and the knowledge to design an IP network. “The class and vendor presentations were outstanding. I’m so glad I attended,” he said. The trainings have been highly successful and provide dealers and integrators with what they need to transition successfully to the IP market.

Jeff Stout, network solutions manager for Tri-Ed / Northern Video, and Mike Leary, network product specialist, continue to instruct the classes across North America. This ongoing offering is a testament to Tri-Ed / Northern Video’s commitment to educating its customers on changing technologies.
