EverFocus UK To Unveil 20 New Products

At IFSEC 2011, EverFocus UK will show two additions to its popular of HDcctv DVRs. These will be joined by six new IP cameras and nine new mobile vehicle surveillance products, including custom-designed CCTV cameras and Wi-Fi-enabled DVRs.

EverFocus Electronics Corporation is extending is range of HDcctv DVRs with the newly available Endeavor series EDR HD-2H14 which offers two HD channels and 14 standard analogue channels, and the EDR HD-4H4 with four HD channels and four standard analogue channels.

These ‘hybrid’ HD-DVRs are designed to appeal to installations where there is a need to deploy HD only in high risk areas, with standard analogue resolution images acceptable for more general surveillance.

EverFocus is extending its HDcctv camera range with two new HDcctv domes and an HD-CCTV infrared bullet camera.

The EverFocus EDH5240 IR indoor dome and EHH5200 external dome cameras offer two megapixel resolution and contain a 1/2.5 inch CMOS sensor to deliver a choice of HDcctv resolutions (720p/1080i).

EverFocus is also offering a HDcctv IR bullet camera called the EverFocus EZH5240 for outdoor use. All cameras simply connect to a coaxial cable network using a standard BNC connector.

EverFocus also recognises that IP cameras are growing in popularity in the UK and in recognition of this it is now extending its range of network cameras.

The EverFocus EQN2200 HD network camera offers H.264 compression, two megapixel HD network camera delivering 720p (progressive scan) images at up to 30 frames per second (fps).

The product contains built-in two-way audio capability and a 4.3mm wide angle adjustable focus lens. A wireless version called the EQN2201 is also available.

EverFocus is also launching a range of Nevio HD network dome cameras including a new indoor network dome camera called the EDN3240, which offers 1080p HD resolution.

A new outdoor network dome camera called the EHN3200 delivers Full HD and two megapixel resolution images.

A new two megapixel, 1080p HD outdoor IR network bullet camera called the EZN3240 will also be shown for the first time in the UK at IFSEC.

The EAN3200 two megapixel 1080p HD box camera rounds out the new Nevio HD series range.

All these Nevio HD Series cameras use a CMOS sensor; offer H.264 compression and MJPEG video stream formats, 12 Volt DC or Power over Ethernet power options, localised recording using a built-in SDHC card, and are PSIA and ONVIF compliant.

Among the great innovations look out for the EverFocus EMD302 1/3 inch DSP indoor vandal proof small dome delivering 540 TV lines in NTSC or PAL picture formats.

The EMD300 is weather proof and contains a Super HAD II sensor for low light images down to 0.05 lux and high 550 TV lines resolution.

The AVM-950H is a windscreen-mountable internal vehicle camera with 12 Volt DC power supply, 1/3 inch CCD image sensor and 520 TV lines resolution.

In addition the EMW330 Mobile Camera offers IR and IP67 vandal resistant housing and has a 1/3 inch Sony Super HAD CCD delivering 520 TV lines. It is designed to be mounted on the side, rear or ceiling of a vehicle without the need for a bracket.

For external surveillance mounted at front and rear of buses, for example, there is the EverFocus AVM-930BV Vehicle View IR camera which uses 1/3 inch Sony CCD image sensor and offers great night time image using 13 PCS LEDs offering IR distance of 10 metres.

An internal or external vehicle view camera is offered by the AVM-730A which contains a 1/4 inch Inter Line Transfer CCD chip and delivers 420 TV lines resolution. The AVM-BV (Back View) camera also offers mirroring for easy driver interpretation of images to the rear of the vehicle.

Two different Mobile DVRs can support these mobile cameras. The first, the EMV1200, offers 12 channels of video and audio recording, at 120fps @D1, 240fps@2CIF or 480fps@CIF resolution using H.264 compression format with shock and vibration resistance and a 10-36V DC Surge protected voltage regulator enabling it to serve power to up to 12 cameras.

EverFocus EMV800 offers eight channels of video and audio recording. Both mobile DVRs offer optional Wi-Fi connectivity for downloading data whilst on the move from its removable SATA 3.5 or 2.5 inch hard disk drive. Both are ruggedised and designed to operate down to -40 deg C and up to 55 deg C.

Basil Singh, managing director at EverFocus Electronics UK, said: “It is not often you arrive at IFSEC with 16 new security products on a brand new stand but this is what we are doing in IFSEC 2011 which will be the most exciting yet for the company.

“We have now extended our HD CCTV camera and DVR range adding dome and IR cameras and hybrid SD/HD hybrid DVRs.

“In recognition of the pick-up of IP, even in the UK, we are introducing a much fuller range of high specification network cameras.

“We have also decided to address the needs of the transport market with Wi-Fi-enabled Mobile DVRs and both internal and external CCTV camera range. It’s all going to be on display on our stand at B5 so please drop in.”
