IQinVision Expands Global Sales and Management Teams

IQinVision announced a series of personnel promotions, additions and enhancements to the company’s sales and management teams to further fuel the company’s growth and market penetration.

David Clark has been promoted to vice president of engineering and operations. Clark came to IQinVision with more than 25 years’ experience in high technology industries such as defense, telecommunications and consumer products. Clark’s background includes formal education in engineering, business and quality assurance and he holds a BSEE from the University of Boulder, Colorado, a B.S. in technical management from Regis University, Denver and a M.S. in quality assurance (MSQA) from San Jose State with certifications in Six Sigma and lean Mmanufacturing.

Along with the previously announced addition of Rob Ledenko, VP of sales and marketing, the IQinVision sales team now includes Doug Dickinson, regional sales manager for the Mid-Atlantic region. Dickinson has diverse experience in various video surveillance technologies and a background in converged network architectures. He has a track record of enabling his business partners to implement leading-edge digital video surveillance solutions. Jim Rigg takes over as regional sales manager for the Midwest territory. Rigg has more than 35 years’ experience in networking/IT, most recently in the IP VMS industry space. He has worked for industry giant Nortel, and for DST Systems and Timesight Systems. Guy Walker is the company’s new RSM for the Northeast territory. Walker has more than 16 years in direct and indirect sales of physical security and communication products as well as consulting with and educating system designers, engineers, distributors and end users. He has worked for companies such as GE Security, SightLogix and ComNet.

After approximately one year with the company, Wendi Burke has been promoted to director of global marketing communications. In a short timeframe, Burke has been instrumental in creating a consistent, compelling and attractive IQinVision brand and messaging, far surpassing anything done to date. By continuously creating high-value programs, methods of communication and user tools, Burke and her team have provided a highly effective support infrastructure for increased sales.

To strengthen sales operations in Canada, FIS Marketing Inc. has been added as an additional Canadian sales rep firm. FIS has been representing leading security and A/V manufacturers in Canada since 1998. Based in Vancouver, BC, the FIS staff is committed to providing a high degree of technical sales and marketing services to resellers in western Canada.

“We continue to align our business with the demands of the marketplace and our growing customer base,” said Pete DeAngelis, IQinVision president and CEO. “Accordingly, we have specifically augmented our sales team with highly qualified people who possess a depth of industry experience and knowledge. I’m also quite pleased with Dave and Wendi’s promotions. They’re a clear indication of the value we place on career development and advancement within our organization.”
