STANLEY Security transfers Sonitrol-branded Product Development to 3xLOGIC Inc

STANLEY Security and 3xLOGIC, Inc., announced a definitive agreement where 3xLOGIC will assume ownership of research and development, technical support and certain marketing activities for products developed under the Sonitrol brand. The focus of the transaction will be to bring the combined strengths of 3xLOGIC and STANLEY Security to the development and delivery of innovative Sonitrol-branded products. In addition 3xLOGIC, Inc. will take ownership of the operations at the Orlando, Florida, Sonitrol facility. The agreements forming the relationship went into effect as of June 1, 2014.

The partnership further enhances 3xLOGIC’s reach and influence in the security industry, bringing 3xLOGIC’s innovative video verification and unrivaled mobile capabilities to complement the industry-leading audio alarm verification brand, Sonitrol, and its global network of franchisees.

“Sonitrol recently celebrated 50 years dedicated to verified security solutions,” said Matthew Kushner, 3xLOGIC’s CEO. “Their unprecedented success is built upon a foundation provided by their patented audio verification capabilities, long recognized as the pinnacle in the industry. Yet, as the complexity of security solutions expands, adding video verification and anywhere, anytime access will enable the Sonitrol network to better address the ever-changing marketplace they confront.”

“STANLEY Security is excited to bring together such an elite partnership. The modular, scalable security solutions, including the industry leading audio verification technology that Sonitrol can bring to the table, paired with 3XLOGIC’s distinctive video analytics will create a new niche in the security market,” said Jeremy Morton, STANLEY Security’s VP of Software & Controls.
