Bosch Integrates Video with Intrusion Control Panel App

Bosch Security Systems, Inc. has enhanced its Remote Security Control app for the B Series Intrusion Control Panels to enable users to view live video from Bosch IP cameras that are integrated with the panels.

Bosch Integrates Video with Intrusion Control Panel AppBosch recently added integration of its IP cameras to the B Series Control Panels, which allows video motion detection to activate points on the panel and panel events to trigger camera actions. This feature gives end users the ability to see images of events happening at their homes or businesses on their mobile devices and provides an easy path toward video alarm verification. The solution is unique in that there is no additional hardware, cloud or video management applications required.

In addition to the new video viewing capabilities, Remote Security Control allows arming and disarming of one or more B Series systems or areas, as well as controlling any connected outputs—including lights, garage doors, and more. App users can connect to a system without a third-party server. This configuration reduces monthly costs for the dealer and allows the app to be used with a local Wi-Fi network when other Internet or cellular connections are not available.

The latest version of Remote Security Control is available for both iOS and Android devices.
