Black Hawk Helicopters and Massive X-ray Machines to Attend Big Game this Sunday

As pro-football players and coaches are ramping up for the Big Game this Sunday, the general public is feeling a surge of excitement. It’s west coast versus east coast and I’m sure everyone is thinking in terms of Lil Smokies swimming in barbeque sauce in a crockpot, rattling bags of Doritos and Lay’s Potato Chips, smoking hot pizza with cheese stringing from all sides and of course, your beverage of choice. In fact, there’s no place I’d rather be than cuddled on my couch, with Mollie Browne, of course, eating a piece of pizza and watching the Big Game.

Oh and for those of you actually attending the Big Game, I’m pretty sure you will feel a sense of ultimate security. Courtesy of the U.S. Customs and Border Protection are Black Hawk military-style helicopters and massive X-ray machines designed to scan large cargo trucks looking for anomalies. And, let’s not forget about all the security personnel that S.A.F.E. recruits and trains for pre-event, game day and post event activities that includes positions in access control, asset protection, crowd management and entry point inspections with hand wands, magnetometers and pat downs.

As the New England Patriots and the Seattle Seahawks engage in teamwork, each trying to prove they are the supreme team in pro football, the Department of Homeland Security; Immigration and Customs Enforcement; the FBI; the United States Secret Service; and the Phoenix and Glendale police departments will also be teaming together to ensure safety and security for all.
