Security Guard Killed inside Marijuana Dispensary

The guard was shot and killed during an attempted robbery

A security guard was shot and killed during an attempted robbery of an illegally operated medical marijuana dispensary in San Bernardino, California, according to a report.

Two armed men entered the business around 10 p.m. and attempted to rob the dispensary.  One of the men forced his way into a back room and starting shooting at a security guard who returned fire. The victim was struck at least once and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Attempts to gain access to video surveillance from inside the store proved unsuccessful, but San Bernardino police Lt. Rich Lawhead said, “We’re hoping that the video gives a lot more information.”
