BEI Security Announces SmartFence

BEI Security president David Iffergan announced the company will be releasing their new product, SmartFence, at the Hi-Tech Defense Industry Fair in Deajeon, South Korea from December 1 through the 4.

“I am very pleased to introduce BEI Security’s SmartFence for the Korean market through Karmel Technologies, Inc., during the Hi-Tech Defense Industry Fair,” Iffergan said. “I believe our patented technology and SmartFence will further strengthen protection of South Korean borders against North Korean intrusions with low false alarms, and for other sensitive area facilities such as nuclear plants, airports, prisons, water reservoirs, etc.”

Designed for medium to high security risk installations, the SmartFence integrates BEI Security’s most advanced and proven fiber-optic technologies, the FiberNet and FiberSensor.  This system has been in proven applications globally for many years in dangerous hot spots such as S. Korea, the Israel border, and Turkey, to name a few.

BEI Security, Inc. is a Texas registered corporation with continuous business operations since 1982. In addition to its SmartFence, the company also manufactures MarineNet for protection of marine assets, and the Interactive Remote Surveillance system for monitoring of critical assets remotely, along with other analytic surveillance packages.
