Live from ISC West Day 2

Day 2 of ISC West featured demonstrations and dealer relations

Day 2 of ISC West saw a packed house, so much so that attendees and exhibitors felt that it was the best biggest show in years.

The day started with a demonstration at the Salient Systems booth, detailing its CompleteView VMS, followed by a stop at IDIS Global, where NVR technology took center stage.

BCD Video and Genetec continued to have a packed booth, with a diverse product selection and solid partnership.

Day 2 saw a number of innovative technologies, but perhaps none more impressive than Canon’s low light camera, which could take the darkest of rooms and accurately identify objects with no motion blur.

The Emergency Phone Wall Mount from Talk-A-Phone saw a constant crowd throughout the day. The emergency communication device is extremely rugged and proven to be reliable.

Open Options held a Dealer meet-and-greet, where it outlined the company’s product roadmap for 2016. A one-year roadmap allows for innovation year-to-year, and this year’s focus is on integration; specifically with Axis and ISONAS Hardware, as well as development with other products.
