Top 10 Booths to Visit at ASIS

It is only a few short days until the ASIS show floor at Orange County Convention Center opens its doors. There are hundreds of booths to see, so how do you decide where to go first? Well, we’ve put together a list, sponsored by Security Products Magazine, of the top 10 booths you can’t leave Orlando without seeing.

This list will take you on a must-see tour of the show floor; you’ll see the very best in access control and security cameras as well as the newest innovations in physical identification and video surveillance. When you’re finished, you can swing by booth 3579 and ask about Security Products’ newest partnership, Security Today Academy. Through Security Today Academy, Security Products and STAM Interactive Solutions Inc. bring online training courses on the latest security technology to professionals in the security industry.

So here they are, in no particular order, the top 10 booths to visit this year at ASIS 2016.

Salient Systems

Salient Systems, provider of video management systems, will announce their partnership in the Safe City Consortium during the show. The Consortium showcases integration of five industry leading companies, and Salient is excited to enhance their partnerships through the program. The company will also be featuring CompleteView VMS, a platform that provides an easy-to-use way to organize sites and zones to view layouts in interactive maps, allowing users to manage complex deployments, something you have to check out in person.

Open Options

Open Options, an access control provider, will unveil the latest features of their access control platform, DNA Fusion, and their new integrations with Axis Communications, Isonas and Allegion at the show. The new features to DNA Fusion include integration with AXIS A1001 door controller, Vanderbilt VRINK and VIONX-8 panels, as well as support for Isonas pure IP hardware.  DNA Fusion also includes photo recall enhancements, improved Biometric Interface to support the verification time, SSP-LX coordination updates, and more.

Protection 1

Protection 1, a provider of residential and business security solutions, will have a lot to see at the show this year. You’ll most certainly get a chance to view the newest eSuite 2.0, the next generation version of Protection 1’s innovative alarm data analytics and reporting platform for enterprise and commercial customers. The second generation was developed through feedback from users giving it more features like enhanced mobile design, ability to place a burglar alarm system on test and remove from test online, and an activity dashboard that shows users critical site activity in a summary activity map.

AlertEnterprise

AlertEnterprise, provider of security software designed to identify and prevent cyberattacks, sabotage and terrorism, will have a lot to offer at the show this year, making them a must see booth. In addition to the AlertEnterprise booth where you can find their newest products and solutions, Founder & CEO, Jasvir Gill will be talking at a session on cyber and physical security. Make sure to stop by for a few minutes and AlertEnterprise can show you their solution in SOC environment right in their booth!

Vicon Industries

Vicon Industries, designer and manufacturer of surveillance solutions, will have one of their newest products features at the show. Vicon has recently announced a video management system, Valerus VMS, and those who attend the show will have an exclusive peek at the new system. You won’t want to miss a demo of this VMS that features high performance video with HD resolution, web-based access from anywhere in the world and separate modules that mitigates the risk of interruption.

SALTO Systems

SALTO Systems, a manufacturer of electronic access control solutions, will be featuring some of their most exciting innovations at the show this year. The company has been striving to incorporate BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) technology into a variety of their products in an effort to make them more efficient and convenient for end users. The BLE technology will be included in their newest minimalist RFID wireless electronic lock product line, AElement. The device integrates physical security needs in an energy efficient way, making it a must-see at the show.

HES/ASSA ABLOY

HES, a member of the ASSA ABLOY group brand, is a manufacturer of electro-mechanical locking solutions. While the company will have many products showcased at ASIS we urge you to find their booth to check out the HES K200 and KS200 wired cabinet locks. The locks, which won Security Products New Product of the Year contest in the Access Control Devices/Peripherals division, are a flexible solution for drawer and cabinet access control. The devices use Wiegand communication between the reader and the access control system to deliver full access control, something you’ve got to see in real life.
