Surveillance Video Captures 15-year-old Texas Boy Beating Mom to Death

A 15-year-old Texas boy has been charged with murder after he allegedly beat his mother to death. police say the entire assault was caught on surveillance video inside the house.

The McKinney Police Department responded to the home, less than 40 miles north of Dallas, around 1 a.m. Sunday after the boy’s father called 911, according to NBC DFW.

The victim, 50-year-old Stacy Ellen Barney, was found dead inside.

The teen, who has not been publicly identified, was captured after a search in the area and has been charged with murder.
