Paxton Expands Global Team to Accommodate Growth

Paxton has broken all their previous manufacturing records, with this year being the busiest production period in their 36-year history. In support of this growth, they recently appointed Blair Bowen as global manufacturing manager. Bowen previously managed manufacturing teams for Collins Aerospace and Jaguar Land Rover.

“What really attracted me to Paxton is the people and culture. I have spent the last 12 years working in a blue-chip large corporate environment. This is an opportunity to come to a growing organization, get that breadth of exposure, and broaden my horizons across multiple elements of the business,” Bowen said.

Blair is based at Paxton’s main UK manufacturing facility in Eastbourne, East Sussex. His role is integral to the company's growth plans over the coming years. Paxton is currently set to expand production lines and add more manufacturing space to meet the increase in demand internationally for their security systems.

In addition, George Spanos has joined Paxton’s U.S. sales team as their new regional sales manager responsible for developing the Northeast region. This region spans from North Jersey to Maine including two of the largest and most populated areas in the United States - metro Boston and metro New York City.

Spanos remarked that it was the company culture at Paxton that appealed to him. “Everyone that I spoke with during the interview process were authentic and professional. The team has been very supportive and welcoming since my arrival and I am excited to have become a member of the Paxton family. I believe in the product/solution we offer here at Paxton. Safety and Security is extremely important to me, so I am eager to help accomplish that in the Northeast.

“Coming from distribution, I plan to leverage my contacts to help spread the Paxton message while simultaneously growing the Paxton market share in the Northeast. I will achieve this goal with the help and support of our world-class Paxton team,” Spanos said.

Quanel Key recently joined the Paxton team as field training engineer for the central United States. He will be responsible for providing installation training at installer locations from the Rio Grande to the Canadian border. Quanel will provide practical hands-on training for Paxton’s complete line of stand-alone and networked products.

Paxton has worked to expand and strengthen their US Support team with the addition of seven new technical support agents. A step aimed at strengthening Paxton’s support infrastructure as a foundation to their world-class approach to serving customers.

“Coming off a record year of sales in North America, I am excited to be expanding our teams across all business units within Paxton, including the biggest expansion in our U.S. support team,: said Jonathan Lach, vice president of sales for Paxton. “This expansion will directly increase our service level to our customers and provide the world class support our customers expect from Paxton. This investment in people is completely in line with our growth expectations in the U.S. market and our No. 1 priority, our customers.”
