With the first day of GSX in the books, I wanted to share a few observations and products that have caught my eye. I try to get everywhere but unfortunately, there is not time enough. Let’s look.
I have known Al Forman for a while now, and I check in at every tradeshow to see what Altronix is bringing. Their team is introducing the Trove Max – Maximum Density Access System. This will increase capacity to accommodate more Mercury access hardware with or without Altronix power from a single enclosure. You will save space and increase ROI.
Camden Door Controls is showing the first surface mount rim strike with preload. The number one reason that RIM strikes fail to operate is pressure on the keepers of the strike, otherwise known as preload.
Connect One is displaying a weather service monitor to help detect, monitor and alert the user of currently conditions. Hey, it is hurricane season, and who wouldn’t want a heads up of changing or dangerous situations? A new capability reports directly to the platform for real-time reporting.
3xLOGIC is updating their VIGIL CLOUD platform. It includes improved functionality for deals and increased opportunities to help generate more ROI. It is quicker and easier to install, and a more efficient remote system management.
A new version of i-PRO Active Guard VMS is now available. The AI-based plug-in can turn VMS into powerful search engines capable of real-time searches or deep forensic analysis. Active Guard creates more efficient and accurate AI-powered system without compromising on image quality or network performance.
Get things done, PRONTO. Vicon is releasing what they describe as the ultimate discovery tool to help find and manage Vicon cameras. It is a tool designed for camera discovery, configuration and firmware management.
Invixium is showing a dual-biometric reader featuring two 8MP cameras (RGB and infrared) and a high-resolution optical fingerprint sensor. The company says it is ideal for access control or workforce management applications.
AMAG’s Symmetry Mobile is introduced for organizations using mobile devices or in conjunction with physical credentials for users who are transitioning to a mobile system. The product works with Symmetry Access Control system, and other access control systems, providing a seamless, efficient and cos-effective solution.
Traka is showing its Touch Pro series. It debuts as the latest in key management, and it will be available in 2023. The company boasts that it is the same reliable iFob and Receptor Strip platform and platform and user experience. It is flexible and sustainable.
