Strata Identity Names Erik Ruby Head of Sales to Lead Market Expansion for Identity Orchestration Platform

Strata Identity, the Identity Orchestration company, recently announced that Erik Ruby has joined the company as Head of Sales. The former Sumo Logic and SnapLogic executive brings a wealth of cloud security, SaaS, and infrastructure domain expertise to Strata’s management team and will lead market expansion for the Maverics Identity Orchestration platform.

“Strata provides the fabric for unifying multi-cloud and hybrid identity, and Erik is a proven sales leader with an in-depth knowledge of cloud orchestration, security, and infrastructure with some of the leading vendors in each of these categories,” said Eric Olden, CEO of Strata Identity. “He has the right leadership skills, processes, and relationships to expand Strata’s market penetration and lead in the Identity Orchestration space. We are glad to welcome Erik to the management team.”

Erik joins Strata from SnapLogic, an application, data, and cloud integration platform provider, where he led North American sales. Before that, Erik helped build Sumo Logic, a leader in cloud log management and analytics services, into a leading public company during his tenure. He also held sales leadership roles at Aviatrix, CA Technologies, and Compuware. Erik holds an MBA in Marketing from Regis University and a Bachelor of Science from Colorado State University.

“Strata Identity addresses some of the biggest obstacles that prevent organizations from taking full advantage of the flexibility and agility benefits of multi-cloud environments, including lock-in and lack of interoperability between cloud identity providers,” said Erik Ruby. “The company is at an inflection point for wide-scale adoption of the Maverics Identity Orchestration platform. It’s an exciting time to join Strata. I look forward to helping build the next leader in enterprise identity management.”
