4 Killed, 9 Injured at Georgia High School Shooting

Four people were killed and nine were hospitalized after a shooting at Apalachee High School in Winder, Georgia on Wednesday. That’s according to CNN.

The shooter, reportedly a 14-year-old male, was in custody according to a post from the Georgia Bureau of Investigation on X. It’s unknown whether the male attended the high school.

Authorities are currently reunifying parents and students at the high school football field.

Winder is around an hour outside of Atlanta.

Update (9/5): The shooter, Colt Gray, has been identified as a student of the high school. According to CNN, the suspect and his father were questioned last year about online threats to commit a school shooting. The threats also included images of guns.
