Acceleration Adapter

American Portwell Technology's RF-330, a single-card acceleration adaptor with built-in security, is based on the Multi-Core MIPS-64 technology from Cavium Networks. The adapter uses Cavium’s Octeon CN38XX series network services processors to provide packet processing with up 16 cores to support both host mode for a standalone system board and target mode as a PCI-X add-on card. Built-in security features include: de/compression, encryption/decryption, regular expression, pattern matching, TCP acceleration, SSL, IPS, antivirus and QoS.
