Sensor Systems compact gas detector

Gas Sensor

Sensor Electronics’ compact gas sensor detects minute quantities of hydrogen selenide, a highly toxic gas that is used in etching silicon wafers that capture sunbeams, changing sunshine into electricity. The sensor is designed to work in harsh atmospheres, with a stainless-steel construction that protects against corrosive atmospheres and ignores temperature and humidity extremes. The transmitter reports real-time H2Se levels on a digital readout panel in color-coded LEDs that turn green/yellow/red as toxic levels increase.
