Honeywell Power Products’ IPGSM-COM fire alarm communicator provides complete system reporting through Honeywell’s AlarmNet network via IP or multiple GSM/cellular pathways. The IPGSM-COM is simple to install and operate and offers a more reliable, cost-effective data reporting alternative to legacy circuit-switched phone lines. Triple-path technology utilizes IP for primary communications and GPRS for back-up. If GPRS is unavailable, the system automatically switches over to SMS communications. A 256-bit AES is used to secure data traveling through any pathway.
