Panasonic’s four-channel H.264 video encoder integrates video signals from analog cameras for IP networked system applications. The WJ-GXE500 H.264 encoder features Panasonic’s i-Pro Smart HD high performance to deliver HD quality images employing the company’s UniPhier LSI processor, face detection, bandwidth and energy efficiency, as well as simple installation, set-up and operation. The encoder provides full-frame-rate video, multiple H.264 streams per channel and PoE IEEE802.3af. The encoder offers selectable resolution of D1, VGA and QVGA.

Hexagon’s Accur8vision is a volumetric detection system that employs LiDAR technology to safeguard entire areas. Whenever it detects movement in a specified zone, it automatically differentiates a threat from a nonthreat, and immediately notifies security staff if necessary. Person detection is carried out within a radius of 80 meters from this device. Connected remotely via a portable computer device, it enables remote surveillance and does not depend on security staff patrolling the area.
