AeroPASS

HCL Technologies’ AeroPASS is a secure biometric solution designed to expedite the passage of pilots and flight attendants through security checkpoints. The solution complies with rapid-access biometric systems regulations as defined by the TSA. A personal identification verification card issued to each enrollee is embedded with that individual’s photograph, fingerprint biometrics and public key infrastructure using digital certificate management. The card is checked against a certificate revocation list, which rejects crew members whose status has changed.
